I like this site, makes me feel close to home, though I’m just here in makati, i’m not able to come home as often as possible because of work schedule. Please also post up coming events of the schools and our city. That would something to look forward to by the visitors of this site. Good to see a site where all San Pablenos can interact. Isn’t internet great. Reading blogs from home gets me homesick. I want to go back home and hang out in Plaza.
Last time I was there was disappointing. Place was not kept up and looks ghetto. Just like the streets where it is so crowded with tricycles and drivers with no discipline.
You can not blame the city officilas. But we can blame the people VOTED those officials.
Blame them to what the your community/ city has become. As stated before way back then, you can be proud and say you are from San Pablo. But now you keep it within yourself and shameful to say you are San Pableno.

Tuition fee is quit expensive, but then, where was the tuition fees goes? They dont even add like airconditoning, or even add another comfort room for the students. Chairs are not so good. Even their windows.

We are a group of Christians majority of whom reside in Sta. Rosa City , Laguna. Galvanized by our collective desire to fight the most dreaded social disease afflicting our country called “CORRUPTION”, we have decided to organize an NGO we aptly named Christian Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (CITA). CITA was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission early this month.
We held the 1st CITA Convenors’ meeting last October 17, 2009 attended by the different church leaders from the cities of Paranaque, Muntinlupa, and Las Pinas and the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Quezon. By the grace of God, the meeting ended with a very encouraging response from the participants.
We are all witnesses to the devastation that runaway corruption has wrought upon our people and our country. Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng spotlighted the urgency of taking immediate action against corruption. Surely, we do not have to wait for the next natural calamity to happen before we are roused into collective action.
CITA views corruption as “SIN” and in obedience to our living and true God, the creator of all things who hates “SIN”, we believe we should vigorously and openly reject “CORRUPTION” from the Barangay level all the way up to the highest office on the land.
CITA’s objectives are focused on educating the people on how we can beat “CORRUPTION” as people who believe in the God Almighty.
In this regard, may we invite you to a forum dubbed as “Faith in Action – Beating Corruption” on November 21, 2009, Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, 4th Floor Humana Bldg., Tagaytay Road (across Paseo de Sta. Rosa) City of Santa Rosa, initially for the residents of Paranaque, Muntinlupa, and Las Pinas and the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas and Quezon. The subject of the forum will be the SLEX Toll Rates which we find exorbitant. We wish to assure you that this forum will be free of any political biases.
