For those not familiar with the title, Death Note is based on a manga of the same title. It is a story of a young student who found the death note and vowed to used it to eliminate the evil in the world. You see, he found out that any human who gets their name written on the Death Note dies.

The mysterious and sudden death of known criminals made the authorities suspicious so they seek the help of a legendary detective to find out what was causing all the mysterious deaths. His investigation led him closer to our young student who truly believes that what he is doing is right.

DeathNote is not officially rated but it is advised that the movie should be treated as an “R” rated film. It is being brought to us by NCM Fathom and Viz Pictures.
