Sparkle With SocialSpark

by Admin on April 29th, 2008 @ 3:20 pm | 178 views

Hundreds if not thousands of blogs suffered the dreaded Google SPANK! Most of these blogs were doing or were members of PayPerPost which is a get-paid-to-blog service by Izea. The spank dropped these blogs pagerank to zero which greatly reduced (sometimes even none) the opportunities available to them in PayPerPost.

The problem with PayPerPost is that it relied on Google’s pagerank technology to gauge a blog’s value and to assign to it matching opportunities. When Google spanked these blogs, opportunities that were available to them suddenly disappeared. The spank didn’t only affect a blogs earning opportunities with PayPerPost, it affected the blogs entire earning capacity. The spank forced many bloggers to start new blogs and I believe many of them even closed their spanked blogs. Fortunately, many held on and continued with their blogs, disregarding the spank as if it never happened which is good for them.

During those period of great depression and sorrow, the team behind PayPerPost, which is Izea, were working day and night to finish their new service that will enable bloggers to monetize their blogs without fear of being spanked by Google and that is SocialSpark.

Social Spark

What Makes SocialSpark Different?

SocialSpark is different from other get-paid-to-blog services in the sense that blogs or bloggers who join and participate in SocialSpark are free from the FEAR of getting spanked by Google because, in SocialSpark, all sponsored links are to be nofollow. It is different and it is better because it does not only gives bloggers the ability to monetize their blogs but it also gives them the ability to communicate, network and form communities with other bloggers which is not available with other get-paid-to-blog services. That is where the SOCIAL aspect of SocialSpark comes in.

When Is It Ready?

SocialSpark is HERE! It is available NOW! After months and months of testing and alpha testing, SocialSpark finally broke the bubble and went to Public Beta. The wait is now over. The suspense finally passed. The service everyone’s been waiting for is finally here.

An invite is no longer necessary to join SocialSpark. All you’ll need is an e-mail address and your blogs and you’ll soon be sparkling with SocialSpark.

The requirements for your blogs to be accepted into the marketplace isn’t very difficult to achieve but there will be cases where blogs might be rejected and when that happens, and you are sure that your blog or blogs qualify or meet the requirements, just re-submit them again, and again, and again. Until they realize that your blog or blogs do qualify. I should know, I submitted this blog three times before they accepted it.

Socialize!

As I’ve stated above, SocialSpark is not only about monetizing your blogs, it is also about meeting, networking and socializing with other people (bloggers). In other words, it is also a Social Network. Invite your friends and build up your friend’s list. Discuss, comment, share or talk about your experiences on current and previous opportunities.

Socialize

Fav your favorite member or give them a prop. You can even add a comment under their profiles and you can also give members a drop, that is, if they truly deserved it if not then just ignore it.  :)

Just like most Social Networks, SocialSpark can also drive traffic to your blogs. You see, once your blogs are added into SocialSpark, accepted or not, it will read your most recent stories, articles or posts and these are all accessible in your profile. Members and other people, who visit SocialSpark and view your profile, will be able to read them and they can even subscribe to them via RSS which will eventually add up to your daily traffic.

Traffic

Make Money!

One of the most important part of SocialSpark is making money for your blogs and you CAN definitely make money. Opportunities and sponsorships are available to everyone. What about pagerank? SocialSpark doesn’t care about pagerank anymore. It is a thing of the past. Now, qualifying for an opportunity is much easier to achieve. You are no longer limited by an unreliable technology that is Google’s Pagerank.

Why SocialSpark?

I believe I’ve already mentioned a lot of reasons why, as a blogger, you should go with SocialSpark but if you want more then here is a list of more reasons courtesy of SocialSpark.

  • 100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
  • 100% Transparency
  • 100% Real Opinions
  • 100% Search Engine Friendly

Sparkle!!!

Yes, SocialSpark is like a sparkle of light that will bring new hope to those that were brutally spanked by Google. Bloggers with spanked blogs will again have the opportunities to earn from blogging about the things they love and those that weren’t spanked will continue to benefit from the new opportunities presented to them without any FEAR of getting spanked.

A new era in blogging has started and with this new era blogs, spanked or not, will once again Sparkle as new opportunities opens to them thanks to SocialSpark! Let’s GO!
